CenterLine: Our Newsletter

Fall 2008/Spring 2009 - September 20, 2008

To all of our friends who have made the past three years such a great ride for --CenterLine--:

We wanted you to know that, after our September 20 gig at the Bethany Village Grill (where we celebrated our CD release party for 'Bend in the Road' in January 2006), we'll be taking a hiatus from regular gigs.

In the near term, we still plan to do some private parties periodically and maybe even put together some 'in-home-potluck-casual-with-friends-and-families hootenanny jam types of 'performances' (we'll send you e-mails as those come up). But for the time being, we each have some other roads to travel that will--until next summer--keep us from the regular Friday and Saturday night 'down-at-the-local-pub' type gigs.

Angela is pursuing her Waldorf Teacher Training certification so she will be able to expand her teaching horizons;

Mark can still be seen and heard playing on a regular basis with the inimitable Dick Lappe;

Jon plans to expand and grow his business--and spend some quality time with Sadie while Angela is in class;

And Jon and Mark will continue to pursue their song-writing and recording together--and maybe even do some duo gigs...so....

Stay tuned.

In the meantime, thanks again for your support of independent music in general and for--CenterLine-- in particular.

Cheers,

Mark, Angela and Jon

Smith & Hayes - September 26, 2007

Hi all,

We just wanted to pass along a little ditty which should be of interest to you.

CenterLine has mentioned, in the past, our good friend and producer, Mr. Clay Smith. Well..... Clay and his buddy, Bill Hayes have finally released their CD, Smith and Hayes "Changed By A Song", available through CD Baby. You really owe it to yourselves to check it out, it is an amazing piece of musical genius. Visit cdbaby.com and type in Smith and Hayes, you won't be sorry. Oh, and as long as you're there, pick up a copy of CenterLine's "Bend In The Road", after all.... the holidays are coming.

Thanks, for supporting independent Music.
